Avon Little League Baseball Winter Training registration opens Monday October 20th, save $10 for registering by November 14th, the deadline is Sunday, December 14. Register early, the program is limited to the first 120 registrants. Please register at www.avonlittleleague.com . Cost is $160 per player and includes a '2026 Winter Training' t-shirt. Open to Avon Little League athletes who are league age 7-12 for the 2026 season.
Please note: Avon Little League Baseball Winter Training is for BASEBALL ONLY Boys and girls who meet the age requirements listed below are welcome, please know baseballs will be used for all drills. If you have a daughter who is interested in softball specific training, The Avon High School Softball Program is running a softball winter training program, details on that program will be communicated when available.
Avon Little League Baseball Winter Training Details:
- Our baseball winter training program will run for 8 weeks starting Sunday, January 4th and ending March 1st.
- There will not be a training session on Super Bowl Sunday (February 8th).
- Training time slots are between 5-8 p.m. based on age, ability level, and available space (either 5:00pm - 6:25pm or 6:30pm - 8:00pm). Time slots will be determined and communicated at the close of registration.
- All training sessions will be held at the T3 Performance (building 2) facility located at 1965 Recreation Lane in Avon in partnership with the Avon High School Baseball program.
- The program is open to all players from league age 7 up through league age 12 who are entering the Rookie, Minors, Majors baseball divisions in 2026.
The 8 week progressive winter training program will focus on baseball fundamentals. The goal of our winter training program is to allow players to continue to improve their baseball skills over the winter while being coached by Avon High School baseball players and volunteer coaches from the Avon Little League program. Winter training sessions will include progressive drills to enhance throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running, pitching, and other skills needed to succeed on the field. The drills being offered are the same drills that Avon High School players practice all year round. Attendees will also learn performance moves, proper game preparation, teamwork, and participate in exciting competitions!
Participants should bring their own baseball gear (glove, bat, helmet) and wear shoes appropriate for the T3 indoor turf.
